“Before moving to Kansas City, I experienced a substantial amount of personal trauma. Within a six-month time period, I lost my marriage, my business, and my church community. Everything I and grown to know about my life felt ripped away. I was left feeling very alone, confused, and in the depths of grief. Through much prayer, careful consideration I made the hard and very scary decision to move to Kansas City. Today I stand in awe, a living testimony of grace and restoration. What once seemed impossible and beyond my reach has been abundantly given. I have found healing in places I would never have imagined, restoration where I didn’t think possible, and a community that I didn’t know existed. God has taken broken pieces and created a beautiful life, all as the result of obedience and trust. I’m still a work in progress and the picture isn’t complete, but I absolutely can’t wait for what amazing blessings are in store!”

“We feel like 2021 was a year in which we were given an opportunity to test our faith and trust in God. When we finally let go and let our faith carry us through, God blessed us immeasurably with supportive friends and family and a new church community. That community has been instrumental in showcasing what God and His love truly look like. We’re fully convinced we only made it through 2021 with our health and sanity intact because of God’s provision and the church community’s ability to remind us what Jesus stands for.”

“I have loved attending Midtown church! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! Midtown is a church where loving God and becoming a loving neighbor is at the center of what they teach. It has a great community of people and each sermon is filled with truth and practical principles on how to live a transformed life.”
