Midtown Kids
Welcome to Midtown Kids! Our mission is to partner with parents to raise kids who reveal the kingdom of Jesus. We want to build a foundation in each child, making sure that at every age they establish meaningful relationships, know the love of Jesus, and learn key truths.

Partnering with parents to raise kids who reveal the kingdom of Jesus.
What to expect.
Each Sunday, after checking in, the whole family—including children—joins us for worship. We welcome their joyful chaos knowing that we ourselves should learn to be more like children. So bring on the crying babies, dancing toddlers, and spilled coffee.
Midtown Kids & Tots
After worship, kids are dismissed to kids church where we offer high-energy, age-appropriate programming with songs, games, a kids liturgy (little prayers we say together), and teaching for children 1-3 years old and 4-8 years old.
Family Area
Infants (children under the age of 1) are welcome to join their parents in service. Additionally, there is a family area in the East Fireside room featuring a changing table, play mats, toys, and tv streaming the worship gathering. A nursing room is located upstairs.
Children with Disabilities
We understand that many faith communities create unintentional barriers to inclusion when it comes to children with disabilities. If your child needs a specific environment or has certain needs, please notify our kids volunteers so we can determine how to best serve you.
FAQS
-
Absolutely! Know your kids are in a safe, clean, and loving environment! This includes background checked, trained volunteers, a security team, and a check-in/check-out procedure.
-
Our Midtown Tots area welcomes children ages 1-3, while Midtown Kids is designed for ages 4-8. Both areas are conveniently located on the ground floor of our building.

We believe that gathering as a Church is not simply a fun thing we do once a week but the reminder of the big family of God to which we belong. So to worship as a family, even with its challenges, reminds your children, not just of your dedication to God, but the dedication of all the adults in the room- many of which they will learn to call second mom, second dad, auntie, uncle, grandma, and grandpa.
The cumulative effect of kids worshipping with their parents year after year cannot be overstated. And thus we believe the challenges we face from having our kids with us in worship is worth it. It is worth the benefits children gain from experiences with God and others.

At Midtown Kids Church, we create a fun, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment where children can learn about God in a way that’s age-appropriate and interactive.
Midtown Kids (Ages 4-8)
Our time together begins with 15 minutes of free play, drawing and games. This allows time to get comfortable and settle into the environment before we begin the liturgy. The liturgy in Midtown Kids consists of small prayers, time to be thankful, a worship song and a lesson video of that week's bible story. Each part of the liturgy is designed to be interactive and encourage questions as kids learn the basic truths: God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever and God made me. After the liturgy, kids will get to color an activity sheet and talk about the week's Bible verse and what we learned about God in that week's Bible story.
Midtown Tots (Ages 1-3)
Our youngest children are surrounded by music, toys, and loving caregivers as they begin building a foundation of faith. Children are allowed to play and explore while teachers go over a liturgy with basic prayers, songs, and a video with the week's bible story. The liturgy in Midtown Tots is designed to encourage curiosity and familiarity with the basic truths: God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever and God made me.
