Pentecost, George Floyd, Neighboring, and Possum Trot, MO

Cassie and Alex take the opportunity to reflect on the first few months of 2021 by sharing thoughts on Pentecost Sunday, the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death, what it looks like to neighbor well, and share a few resources they’ve enjoyed learning from.

On neighboring, Alex shares three suggestions for communicating care to those who live next door; (1) learn their name and write it down, (2) learn their story and pray for them, and (3) invite them into your life and over for dinner.

Cassie has been reading Future Church by Will Mancini and Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Warren Harris.
Alex has been reading Spiritual Life on a Burning Planet by David T Bradford.
